Is there a minimum age requirement for this tour?
Yes, the minimum age for participants is 17 years. For those under 18, a legal guardian’s signature is required. This age limit ensures that all participants are mature enough to handle the diving conditions and the responsibilities that come with it
What if the weather is bad on the day of my dive?
The tour is weather-dependent. If the tour is canceled due to poor weather conditions, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund. The operators prioritize your safety and comfort, and diving in adverse weather could compromise both.
Can I take photos or videos during the dive?
Yes, you can bring a waterproof camera or GoPro to capture your dive experience. However, ensure that your equipment is securely fastened and suitable for use in cold water. The guides also take photos during the tour, which you can review and purchase afterward.
What should I wear under the dry suit?
We recommend wearing long thermal underwear and thick wool socks under the dry suit. This base layer helps keep you warm in the chilly waters of Silfra, which remain around 2-4°C (36-39°F) year-round. The dry suit will keep you dry, but these additional layers provide the necessary insulation.
