Here, you will be warmly greeted by our friendly staff, who will provide you with your boarding pass and guide you to our state-of-the-art whale-watching vessel. This is an excellent time to ask preliminary questions and get excited about the journey ahead.
Boarding and Welcome

After check-in, you'll be escorted to the floating pier where our vessel awaits. Our crew, experienced and passionate about marine conservation, will welcome you aboard. They'll help you get comfortably settled, offering warm overalls and blankets for those who wish to stay on the open deck, ensuring you're well-prepared for the cooler ocean breeze.
Onboard Orientation

Before departure, take part in a brief orientation session where you'll learn about the facilities including the heated indoor saloon, viewing platforms, and safety procedures. This introduction ensures you can move confidently around the boat and know where to find amenities and optimal viewing spots.
Departure and Voyage into Eyjafjörður
Duration: 2.5 to 3.5 Hours
As the ship departs from Akureyri, you’ll immediately be treated to the stunning vistas of Eyjafjörður, a prime location for whale watching. The fjord’s rich waters attract a variety of marine life, creating ideal conditions for sightings. As the tour concludes, the vessel will return to the harbor.
