Arrive 15 minutes before departure to meet your guide and collect the necessary equipment. You'll receive warm overalls and blankets to ensure comfort throughout the tour. Your guide will briefly introduce you and prepare you for the journey ahead.

Departure and Initial Exploration

Depart from the harbor and begin your journey into Faxaflói Bay. Enjoy panoramic views as the boat departs, and guides will introduce the area. This segment sets the stage for the whale-watching experience by offering initial exploration and insights.

Whale Watching

Duration: 2 - 3 Hours

Search for and observe marine life, including minke, humpback, and killer whales. Spot playful white-beaked dolphins and harbor porpoises, especially during the peak season from April to October. Wildlife sightings are frequent, ensuring a memorable experience year-round.

Due to the stairs and uneven surfaces on the yacht, this tour is not recommended for people with limited mobility or wheelchair users.

Please check in at our sales office, located at Aegisgardur 5b, 101 Reykjavík, at the harbor, 30 minutes before departure.
If you have opted for the pick-up service, the vehicle will arrive 45 minutes before departure.
Weather can significantly impact the tour, and we may need to cancel due to unfavorable conditions.
Wildlife sightings cannot be predicted or guaranteed as the tour takes place in wild nature.
If no sightings occur during the tour, we do not offer refunds. Instead, we provide a free return trip on a future tour based on availability or a voucher valid for up to three years.
We recommend that all guests dress warmly in layers and wear good footwear, as it is always colder on the water. Don’t forget your camera!
If the booking is canceled one day or less before the event, we will charge a 100% cancellation fee.
