Check-In and Briefing

Arrive at the designated meeting point at Gullfoss Cafe. Here, you will meet your guides and receive an initial briefing. Participants are introduced to the day’s activities, safety procedures, and the powerful Yamaha Viper snowmobiles.
Equipment Setup
Duration: 15 minutes
Get equipped with high-performance gear, including a helmet, gloves, and safety equipment. Each participant is assigned a Yamaha Viper snowmobile. Guides will assist in adjusting the equipment to ensure comfort and safety.
Snowmobile Handling and Safety Procedures
Duration: 30 minutes
Before embarking on the adventure, participants receive detailed instructions on how to operate the snowmobiles. This session covers handling techniques and goes over crucial safety procedures to navigate the glacier safely.
The Glacier Rush Experience
Duration: 1 hour
Set off into the vast, snowy expanses of Langjökull Glacier. This high-paced tour allows for fast and extensive travel across the glacier’s icy terrain, offering a thrilling experience as you maneuver through pristine snow under the guidance of expert snowmobilers.
Exploration and Photo Stops
Duration: 30 minutes
The tour includes several stops at scenic points across the glacier. These are opportunities for photo sessions and to learn more about the glacier’s geography and the local climate from your guide.
Return and Debrief
Duration: 20 minutes
After the exhilarating rush across the glacier, return to the starting point. Participants will hand over the equipment and receive a debrief from the guides, sharing experiences and any feedback.

Participants are encouraged to discuss their experience and can opt for additional activities or refreshments at Gullfoss Cafe (not included in the tour price).

- The tour is not recommended for pregnant women or those with back and heart problems.
